Membership in PADA is by invitation and is offered only to qualified dealers who have been in business for at least five years. Each PADA member must be a specialist with recognized expertise in his or her field and maintain a corresponding inventory. Members are required to have demonstrated the highest level of integrity and professionalism in dealings with colleagues, institutions and the public. Election to PADA is also based on a dealer’s scholarship and contributions to the art community.
PADA offers a fine art appraisal service that provides tax valuations for estate purposes and donations to charitable institutions at competitive rates. For more information on this service please contact the PADA office.
PADA also supports scholarship through public lectures, exhibitions and symposia. PADA is the only dealer organization that is an Affiliated Society of the College Art Association (CAA) and is one of four American dealer associations that is a member of the Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d’Art (C.I.N.O.A.)
We encourage our colleagues, museum professionals and collectors to make use of PADA's services and network of art world specialists.
